5 Franklin Restaurants Opening in 2017

Lovers of biscuits, boneless wings and Korean sushi bowls have plenty to look forward to in Franklin this year.

FRANKLIN, TN - Are you craving burgers and bratwursts? Maybe boneless chicken wings smothered in a Bourbon-based BBQ sauce? Patch compiled a few local eateries that are scheduled to open in Franklin in 2017.

The Pharmacy Burger is one of East Nashville's most beloved burger and bratwurst spot. Their diverse menu caters to all kinds of different tastes. In 2017, this restaurant will open a location at The Factory in Franklin. This new location will feature an outdoor patio, a beer-garden and plenty of additional indoor and outdoor seating.

Buffalo Wings and Rings is an upscale sports bar and American restaurant that is based in the Mid-West, but will opening its doors in Franklin this new year. Their full menu includes traditional bar food, like sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers and more. Of course, what the mid-western haunt is best known for is their wings. Their award winning Bourbon BBQ wings combine sweet and smoky flavors and are a consistent crowd pleasing appetizer.

Biscuit Love is a local Nashville favorite that started as a food-truck and evolved into a brick-and-mortar breakfast host spot. In 2017, the restaurant is spreading their Biscuit Love to the Downtown Franklin area. Their menu is made up of a combination of greasy breakfast food, like the 'East Nasty' - biscuit, fried boneless chicken thigh and aged cheddar as well as heartier full-plate dishes, like the 'Bill Neal' - cheese grits, gulf shrimp, mushrooms, Applewood smoked bacon, lemon Tabasco sauce and green onion.

Funk Seoul Brother started out as a high-end mobile food truck that served up sushi burritos, bowls and portable appetizers. In 2015, the Korean/Asian fusion spot opened a permanent location in Nashville. As their popularity continues to grow, Funk Seoul Brother will expand to The Factory at Franklin this new year. The Funk Seoul menu has unique dishes like the 'Korrito' - beef bulgogi, gochujang BBQ sauce, purple cabbage, carrot, cucumber kimchi, ginger scallion sauce and tempura flakes. One of the most popular dishes on the Funk Seoul menu is their 'Kimchi Crack Rice' - kimchi fried rice made with bacon and aged kimchi, bulgogi, carrots, cured purple cabbage, kimchi of the day, sriracha aioli and a sunny farm egg.
