Tennessee After School Network is a program designed to provide parents and children with a program that meets both social and academic needs. In addition to serving as a resource for kids to grow and learn outside of the classroom, Tennessee After School Network also employs alternative teaching methods and programs that are designed to facilitate kids who learn in different ways. Bricks 4 Kidz is a hands-on after school program that's perfect if you're the parent of a Lego-loving child. Bricks 4 Kidz helps children ages 5 - 11 create complex structures in a group environment, which helps them develop both social and critical thinking or problem solving skills. Franklin Family YMCA offers after school enrichment programs to children ages 5 - 12 in the Franklin area. Kids can enjoy supervised -- Take a look at the complete Franklin YMCA after school schedule to get an idea of the 2017 winter and spring school times. The Franklin Family YMCA provides kids with a safe, quiet space to complete their homework, after which they can socialize with other kids and participate in group activities like sports, arts and crafts or music lessons.

Williamson County After School Care is a strong choice for parents looking to enroll their kids in an after school program that is primarily focused on academics. Williamson County After School Care is a comprehensive program that divides the students time evenly between socializing and studying. This combination helps kids create relationships with others and learn study and time-management skills. You can register your child online and track their progress through the Williamson County Schools interactive portal.

MAC Extended Care is an after school program offered by the Franklin Special School district that uses school resources to educate, assist and enrich students academic lives. It's a free program, and the kids chosen to participate are selected via lottery. You can enter your child into the MAC Extended Care lottery online.
