Franklin Honors Veterans With Parade This Friday
The City of Franklin and WAKM-AM 950 will celebrate Veterans Day with a parade featuring Williamson County high school marching bands.

FRANKLIN, TN - This Friday, November 11, the City of Franklin will be celebrating Veterans Day in Williamson county with a parade to honor local heros. The parade is a joint effort between the city and local radio station WAKM AM-950. It will run from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
The parade will begin at Williamson County Archives, located at 11 Main St Franklin TN, 37064. The route will process down Main Street, from Five Points to Second Avenue. Accompanying the Franklin area veterans will be JROTC units as well as marching bands from local Williamson County high schools. The Franklin Special School district is sending a group to honor the veterans as well.
Before the parade, a reception will be held for veterans and their families in the Williamson County Archives building from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
