Franklin Man Accused Of Raping 2 Kids For Years

FRANKLIN, TN -- A Franklin man raped two children he is related to for years, according to police.

The 38-year-old is charged with two counts of child rape and remains jailed in Williamson County. Patch is not identifying the man because doing so could identify the children.

According to detectives, a family member called Franklin Police after finding a camera in the man's home with a photograph of a naked girl tied to a bed. The defendant admitted he digitally penetrated and had anal and oral sex with the girl for years, starting at the time she was 4-years-old, and had oral and anal sex with the boy for two years, according to an affidavit. Both children are related to the man.

Child rape, a class A felony, carries a maximum penalty of 25 to 40 years and indicates victims between 3 and 13 years old.

The case was bound over to the grand jury Tuesday.
