Franklin Special School District May Raise Meal Prices

A proposed increase in meal prices in FSSD schools could generate nearly $50,000, school officials said.

FRANKLIN, TN -- Breakfast and lunch prices for Franklin Special School District students could increase next year, under a proposal submitted as the district begins its budget process.

"We have a lot of aging equipment," FSSD Finance Director Chuck Arnold said, according to The Tennessean. "We hope the fee increase gives us some more flexibility that we can address the equipment needs. We are working on a replacement schedule."
