Franklin Weather Forecast: An Unseasonably Warm Weekend

FRANKLIN, TN — A warm and possibly rainy weekend is ahead, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Franklin. The south winds driving up the temperatures shift Sunday afternoon, bringing cooler air back to town. Friday night: Increasing clouds with a 20 percent chance of light rain after midnight, low of 50. Winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent showers, a high of 65. Winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. A 40 percent chance of showers in the evening, otherwise mostly cloudy with a low of 61. Winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph.

Sunday: A 50 percent chance of showers, otherwise mostly cloudy, high of 66. Winds of 10 to 15 mph, gusting to 20 mph, shift from the south to the north in the afternoon, bringing in colder air. Partly cloudy overnight, low of 33.
