Midstate Animal Shelters Join Forces To Find Pets Holiday Homes
Metro Animal Care and Control, the Nashville Humane Association and the Williamson County Animal Center want to clear the shelters.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Three local animal shelters want to 'Clear the Shelters' for the holidays. Metro Animal Care and Control, Nashville Humane Association and Williamson County Animal Center are hosting a final Holiday Adoption Drive Friday, Dec. 22 and Saturday, Dec. 22. All three will have $25 adoptions
“The holiday season is a time for family and togetherness – what better way to celebrate than by extending your family to a homeless animal,” said Rebecca Morris spokesperson for Metro Animal Care and Control. “If you’re unable to adopt for yourself, you can still help homeless animals by encouraging your friends to consider adoption.”
“When you adopt a friend for life, you are giving them the best gift of all! At Nashville Humane Association, we are so pleased to partner with two amazing animal agencies to help match up lifelong friends,” said Laura Chavarria, Executive Director of Nashville Humane Association. “These lifelong friends turn into chosen family. Is there a better gift than that?”

Debbie Sims, public information coordinator for Williamson County Animal Center, said “Our shelter is thrilled to be part of the “Home for the Pawlidays” adoption campaign. Hundreds of pets in Middle Tennessee shelters need homes, and we hope families will open their hearts this holiday season.”
Potential adopters will still need to meet with an adoption counselor to find the best match for their family.
