Pilgrimage 2017: Justin Timberlake To Headline Franklin Festival

Williamson Countian Justin Timberlake, Eddie Vedder and more announced for September 23-24 festival.

FRANKLIN, TN — Leiper's Fork resident Justin Timberlake will headline his hometown festival. JT, arguably the biggest pop star in the world not named Beyonce, was announced as one of the top acts at Franklin's Pilgrimage Festival set for September 23 and 24 at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm.

There were rumors aplenty during last year's edition of the festival that Timberlake would make a surprise appearance as he had signed on as a producer and promoter of the three-year-old event, but he chose to stay in the background. But this year, he's set for his starring role.

Joining JT are Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, prolific alt-country artist Ryan Adams, The Avett Brothers, the legendary Mavis Staples, Guy Clark Jr., 90s power-pop radio darlings Better Than Ezra and Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, among dozens of others.
