Franklin officials OKed more tickets for this year's Pilgrimage Festival featuring Justin Timberlake, Eddie Vedder and others.

FRANKLIN, TN — If you score some last-minute tickets to the 2017 edition of the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, send the City of Franklin some flowers.

Franklin gave a thumbs-up to festival organizers to sell another 2,500 tickets per day, lifting the cap to 27,500 for each day of the festival, set for September 23 and 24 at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. This year's festival will be headlined by Justin Timberlake and will include performances by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, prolific alt-country artist Ryan Adams, The Avett Brothers, the legendary Mavis Staples, Guy Clark Jr., 90s power-pop radio darlings Better Than Ezra and Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, among dozens of others.
