Police Searching for Suspect Who Exposed Himself, Offered Money to Juvenile

Franklin police are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who performed a lewd act in front of a teenage girl at a Sonic drive-in on Oct. 3.

Police said the suspect pulled into a stall at the Murfreesboro Road drive-in around 9:40 p.m. and ordered a cup of ice. When the young female carhop came to deliver it, the man's genitals were exposed and he was engaging in a lewd act on himself. The man asked the girl if she "wanted to make 20 bucks," and drove away after she said no.

The man is described as a heavy-set male, bald, with gray hair on the sides. He was driving the red Chevrolet 1500 Z71 pickup truck, seen in the security video below.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the identification of the man. Tipsters can call 615-794-4000 and may remain anonymous.
