Running Car With Gun Inside Stolen From Franklin Liquor Store

Franklin Police urge people to lock their cars and turn them off after a car with a gun inside was stolen Saturday.

FRANKLIN, TN -- A car left running outside a Franklin liquor store was stolen Saturday night with a gun inside.

Investigators say the owner of a black 2005 Dodge Magnum - license plate N 7276 U - his car running and unlocked when he went inside Holiday Wine and Spirits on North Royal Oaks Boulevard at 10:20 Saturday night.

Witnesses say a "young Hispanic male" stole the car, which had a handgun inside.
