$7.75 Million Jackpot Claimed By Spring Resident

SPRING, TX — A Spring resident recently claimed a multimillion dollar jackpot from the Texas Lottery, according to a press release.

The resident, who elected to remain anonymous, claimed a $7.75 million annuitized jackpot from the Lotto Texas drawing held Jan. 9. The ticket, which matched the six winning numbers of 3-11-23-31-45-54, was purchased at the Fuel Zone located at 6301 FM 1960 West in Humble.

The claimant submitted their ticket just in time as the deadline was 5 p.m. Thursday. In Texas, winning tickets must be claimed no later than 180 days after the drawing. The claimant elected the cash value option, which means they will receive approximately $6.2 million before taxes.

The next Lotto Texas drawing will be held Saturday with the advertised jackpot prize set at an estimated $7.25 million.
