Alleged Child Molester Arrested in Magnolia
A Magnolia resident was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a child.
MAGNOLIA, TX — Deputies from the Montgomery County Pct. 5 Constable's Office arrested Kris Silvey on three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
When authorities went to arrest Silvey, 18, of Magnolia, he fled. He was quickly apprehended and charges of evading arrest and detention were tacked on to his case.
Silvey faces three first degree felonies for aggravated sexual assault of a child, each of which can carry a prison sentence of 5-99 years and a fine not to exceed $10,000. He's currently incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail on a $151,000 bond.
