Bojangles Coming To Montgomery County: Report

The fried chicken chain announced its expansion into Texas, including locations in Conroe and The Woodlands, beginning in 2022.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — A Southeast fried chicken staple is making its way to Montgomery County.

Bojangles announced it would open 25 restaurants in Texas, mostly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, last week, according to a report from the Charlotte Observer.

Bojangles announced in a news release last week that it reached a franchise agreement with Khalid Siddiqui of LASH Foods to open three locations in the Houston area. The first restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are expected to open in early 2022 with more coming after.

According to Culture Map Houston, Siddiqui will open two of his restaurants in Montgomery County with locations planned for Conroe and The Woodlands. The other Houston-area location is planned for Humble.

The Charlotte-based southern fried chicken restaurant is a favorite in the Southeast, where it has over 750 locations. The foray into Texas is Bojangles' third major expansion announced this year as the chain reached agreements to expand to Columbus, Ohio, in March and Orlando, Florida, last month.
