Candidates File for CISD Board Election

CONROE, TX — With the filing deadline for the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees election fast approaching, incumbents and challengers are both submitting paperwork.

Positions 4-7 will be on the Nov. 8 ballot. Position 4 Trustee Datren Williams, as well as Position 5 Trustee Scott Kidd and Position 6 Trustee John Husbands have all filed to run for reelection.

The only incumbent who has not filed for reelection is Jessica Powell, trustee for Position 7. Powell has until Aug. 22 to decide if she wants to run.

James Scott Moore has filed to run for Position 7. Currently all candidates are running unopposed.
