Conore Healthy Snack Company Recalls Products Because of Listeria
A Conroe company known for selling pre-packaged apple slices, vegetables and snacks has issued a recall because of a listeria outbreak.

CONROE, TX — Country Fresh has issued a recall for 30,000 cases of various fresh-cut vegetable products because they may be contaminated with listeria.
The products in question were shipped to retailers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia under the Country Fresh and various store brand labels.
All of the products carried a best if used by date between Aug. 7 and Aug. 19. and were either packaged in a clear plastic, clam shell style container or in Styrofoam trays overwrapped with clear plastic film.

The products were shipped to stores owned by BI-LO, Fresh Point, Harris Teeter, Publix, QuikTrip, The Spink Company, Walmart and Winn Dixie.
