Conroe Child Molester Gets 99 Year Prison Sentence

CONROE, TX — Robert Jude Vajda, 51, was sentenced to three 99-year prison terms for sexually assaulting a child.

Vajda continuously abused a young family member from 2002 to 2007. The abuse started when the girl was 7 years old, he'd sneak into her bed at night, take off her clothes and touch her all over body.

The abuse escalated to intercourse and occurred every other night, until the victim started menstruating. Once the victim began ovulating Vajda started sexually abusing her and started beating and threatening her.

The victim told a friend about the abuse the friend called Family and Protective Service's Child Protective Service's Division, better known as CPS. The victim was sent to Children’s Safe Harbor, Montgomery County’s Children’s Advocacy Center, for a forensic interview.

During the interview she detailed the abuse and said that she saw Vajda looking at child pornography. When the MCSO busted Vajda they found more than 900 images and more than 80 videos of child pornography on his computers.
