Conroe City Govt Didn't Endorse that Water Softener

People selling water softeners door-to-door have misrepresented their product as being endorsed by the city of Conroe.

CONROE, TX — Apparently some door-to-door sales people may have been misrepresenting their products.

The sales people are hawking a water softener, and some people were left with the impression that the city of Conroe either recommended the product or that there was an issue with water quality.

The city put out a notice reminding residents that it does not endorse or recommend any product and sales people do not act on behalf of the city or the public works department. Anyone who thinks that a sales person is misrepresenting a connection to the city is asked to call 936-522-3885.
