Conroe to Hold Budget Hearing
Conroe City Council will hold a budget hearing on Aug. 11.

CONROE, TX — It's that time of the year again, budget season. The city of Conroe will hold a hearing on the proposed budget at 6 p.m. on Aug. 11 in the City Council Chambers at Conroe City Hall, 300 W. Davis St.
When the budget takes effect on Oct. 1, it will raise 12.9 percent more property tax revenue than last year's budget. Of the $3.4 million of additional revenue generated by the proposed budget, $1 million will be raised from new properties added to the tax rolls.
Anyone wishing to review the budget may do so at the city secretary's office at Conroe City Hall or on the city's website.
