Conroe ISD Teachers Getting a Pay Raise

Conroe, TX -- The Conroe ISD board of trustees recently voted to raise teacher salaries and stipends. The increase will raise a starting teacher's salary to $51,500, up from $50,000.

Existing teachers will receive a salary increase of $1,650 or more in the coming school year. The pay raises will cost the district approximately $7.5 million. Pay increases to administration and support staff will cost the district another $4.2 million.
