Grilling Hotline Answers Labor Day Cookout Questions In Houston

LongHorn Steakhouse Grill Masters save your butt roast from the embers with Labor Day, tailgating GRILL-US hotline.

Some of you can’t get through Thanksgiving without having the Butterball turkey help hotline on speed dial. For others, culinary ineptitude is a more pressing concern: People are showing up at your house for a Labor Day cookout Monday, but you don’t know how to operate all your fancy outdoor cooking appliances or if the cut of meat matters (it does).

Butterball’s brand recognition has soared due to this Thanksgiving marketing wizardry, and the LongHorn Steakhouse aims to mimic the strategy with its GRILL US Hotline on Labor Day. Each of LongHorn Steakhouse’s more than 500 locations, including the ones in the Houston area have a certified Grill Master. Some of them will be taking calls from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Central time) Monday to save your steaks and ribs from flameouts and other grilling catastrophes.

The Grill Masters will dish out tips for selecting the perfect cut of steak and achieving grilling perfection with any cut of meat. They’ll hep grilling newbies figure out how to operate and care for their grills, and also tackle questions about college football tailgating spreads.
