Random Thoughts: I'm an organized girl with random thoughts to share

I like to write. I like to post on forums. I never built my own blog or tried to make money at writing -- but I knew that I like to write! It is relaxing and mentally stimulating and allows me to forget the not-so-fun parts of my day.

My writing is pretty random. And to many people, that is probably strange because I like to write and comment on so many different subjects. Some of the subjects I write about are new to me - and I do a little reading to become familiar. I'm not shy about including a link to my source, because I think that helps people have confidence in what I write.

When I post about "whatever I am thinking" at the time is much like having conversations with friends. Think about this - you are sitting at Denny's with one of your good friends and are talking up a storm. Imagine all the different topics you will cover.

Some things are a little easier for me to talk about such as sex and health. Part of it is because of my background, and part of it is because I'm very comfortable talking about subjects that others might have difficulties sharing. Yes, I was always that shoulder that friends confessed their deepest secrets, regrets and plans.

I tend to shy away from Political discussions, although I will stick my toe in to see how hot the water is. In general though, political discussions bore me because I find that no one wants to learn anything -- they only want to share their thoughts and opinions, and have no interest in learning something new - especially if it contradicts what they thought they knew and understood.

Posting at patch should be a lot of fun. I have read many articles that were so well written that I worry if I can make the grade and keep up. But I guess there is nothing I can do except try.
