“Now in its fourth season, The Local has turned into a signature event at Lake Walk Town Center,” says Kate Chapman, Lake Walk’s Special Events Coordinator. “Filled with local artisans, crafters, producers and farmers, The Local is a place to find unique and custom products you can’t find anywhere else.

“Shopping at The Local is a truly unique experience. Lake Walk provides a backdrop that allows vendors and their products to truly shine. There really isn’t another place in Bryan/College Station where you can pick up your favorite salsa while getting dinner from a food truck and enjoying the outdoors. The Local celebrates craftsmen, artisans and makers. Each vendor at the market is carefully selected through an application process. The main requirement – vendors must make their own products.”
