Margaritaville Lake Conroe Celebrates One Year With Specials

MONTGOMERY, TX — Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe is turning one, and the lakeside venue is celebrating with specials and events throughout June.

The resort, which opened in June 2020 in Montgomery, is offering a special rate package called Trip Around the Sun, named after the popular song by namesake Jimmy Buffett. The first 365 people who book a Sunday-Thursday night stay in June will receive 20 percent off the resort’s best available rate.

In addition, all guests will receive a keepsake passport booklet that can be used in a scavenger hunt that will take them throughout the resort. All guests who finish the scavenger hunt will receive an additional prize. Margaritaville Lake Resort also will be running a photo contest all month long to see who can take the best summer vacation photo at the resort. The winner, which will be announced in July, will receive a free two-night stay in a lakeview suite.

The Lake Conroe resort, the first Margaritaville Resort in Texas, features several Jimmy Buffett-themed bars and shops, including LandShark Bar & Grill, which features boat slips on the lake, 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar, Lone Palm Pool Bar, License to Chill Bar & Café, Joe Merchant’s Coffee & Provisions, and Margaritaville Retail Shop.

The resort also features an 18-hole golf course, a three-acre waterpark with a lazy river and outdoor pools, spots for pickleball, tennis, swimming, boating, and fishing as well as a full-service spa and fitness center.
