Stewart, Champagne and Cronin are running a bloc campaign focused on fiscal responsibility.

Champagne, who previously served 10 years on the Montgomery City Council, wants to maintain “an appropriate balance of growth in the city by observing zoning and architectural essentials and improving roads, walkways and traffic bottlenecks.” He resigned from the council in May 2020, according to the Conroe Courier, and now is challenging Councilman Wilkerson, who is a senior plant operator.

Langley, an office clerk, and Stewart, a horse breeder, have both lived in Montgomery for over 60 years, and Stewart is challenging for another term on the City Council after having previously served three terms.
