Panorama Village Looking to Dig Retention Ponds to Stop Flooding

Panorama Village is looking to dig retention ponds to stop flooding.

PANORAMA VILLAGE, TX — In an attempt to lessen damages from future flooding Panorama Village's city council is planning on dredging two retention ponds.

The first would be along Stewart Creek, a body of water regulated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the second would be upstream from Lake Panorama.

The city expects the cost to be reimbursed by FEMA, along with $270,000 in damages from recent flooding events.
