Panorama Village Raises Fees, and Thinks About Ending Golf Course Management Contract
Panorama Village will raise the city's water and sewer rates and is looking to terminate a management contract for The Village Golf Club.

PANORAMA VILLAGE, TX — The Panorama Village council voted to raise charges for both water and sewer service and is considering dumping the company managing its golf course.
The monthly minimum water charge will go up from $11.83 to $16.83 for the first 3,000 gallons. Minimum sewer rates will go up from $13.22 to $18.22, also for the first 3,000 gallons.
Before the change, the monthly minimum charges only covered the first 2,000 gallons of water and sewer use. The council plans to use the additional revenue to upgrade the city's water infrastructure.

The city is looking to terminate its 11-year contract with Billy Casper Golf LLC, the company that manages the municipally owned golf course, The Village Golf Club.
Last year the city had to write off $500,000 in losses related to the golf course. Panorama Village has also set aside $231,000 for possible losses this year, but the mayor and council are getting frustrated with what they see as a money pit.
