CONROE, TX — A Pasadena man who was accused of having sex with his two young daughters, one of them for nine years, will spend the rest of his life behind bars, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

Michael Wayne Kelly, 38, was sentenced to 99-years in prison without the possibility of parole in the 9th District Court on June 21. Kelly was arrested in October 2014 after his oldest daughter, who was 14-years-old at the time, told Port Lavaca Police that she’d had sexual contact with Kelly since she was 5-years-old.

The incidents she described all took place during visits and that the same thing occurred with her 6-year-old sister at various hotel rooms in Porter and Pasadena, according to prosecutors.

Kelly violated his children in the absolute worst way that any father could. In reality, he wasn’t a real father, he was a manipulating child predator, and we are happy the jury put him where he belongs for the rest of his life," Stewart said in a statement from the DA’s office. "We are proud of the law enforcement agencies involved in this case and acknowledge the extreme courage it took for these kids to follow through with this process."
