Raises Approved For Montgomery ISD Employees

The Montgomery ISD Board of Trustees approved an extra $3.8 million in salary across all employee groups, including a 5% raise for teachers.

MONTGOMERY, TX — The Montgomery ISD Board of Trustees approved the district's 2021-22 compensation plan at its Tuesday meeting. The plan includes an increase of $3.8 million in salary and stipends across all employee groups.

Current teachers will receive a 5 percent salary increase, and all other district employees will receive a 3 percent increase. In addition to a 2 percent raise for all employees that the board approved in October, the plan brings the total pay increase for teachers to 7 percent — equivalent to $4,055 — and all other employees to 5 percent.

In addition to adopting the compensation plan, the board also approved teacher contracts for the 2021-22 school year.
