Rep. Kevin Brady Hosts Annual Military Academy Send-Off Breakfast
Event celebrated 18 local students who will be attending military service academies or prep schools next year.

THE WOODLANDS, TX —On Saturday, Rep. Kevin Brady (R-8th-Conroe) hosted the annual Military Academy Send-off Breakfast, which served as a celebration of 18 local students who will be attending a military service academy or prep school next year.
The event was held at The Black Walnut Cafe in The Woodlands and included a keynote address from Broderick Moore, a graduate of The Woodlands High School and West Point and a commissioned second lieutenant. According to Woodlandsonline.com, Moore spoke about his time at West Point, offering insight into what life was like as a cadet. He also took questions from the students.
Brady also delivered remarks.

"These students are the future leaders of the county," Brady said. "The caliber of the young people in this room and their willingness to serve reassures us all that the future of this nation is in good hands. The Eighth Congressional District is proud of you, and we cannot wait to see what your bright future holds."
