Robert Ingalls Named Montgomery Elementary School Principal
Montgomery ISD Superintendent Heath Morrison picked the experienced educator from Montana to succeed Carrie Fitzpatrick.

MONTGOMERY, TX — Robert Ingalls will be the new principal at Montgomery Elementary School, Montgomery ISD Superintendent Heath Morrison announced at a special meeting of the Board of Trustees on Tuesday night.
Ingalls has nearly 27 years of public education experience and spent the last 19 years as an elementary school principal in the Great Falls Public School District in Montana. For the last 12 years, Ingalls was the principal at Chief Joseph Elementary School.
Ingalls will take over his new role in July.

“My family and I are excited and humbled for the opportunity to join the Montgomery Elementary School Bearcat family as the next leader of their amazing campus,” Ingalls said in a news release. “I look forward to working with our students, staff and families to build upon the foundation and culture of excellence that has been established at MES.”
Ingalls replaces Carrie Fitzpatrick, who was named Montgomery ISD assistant superintendent of elementary education in April.

According to the release, Ingalls outlined his intent to support the professional growth and development of the staff at MES during the interview process. He also emphasized building strong relationships with families and community supporters. He also has experience leading a Title I elementary campus and serving students with unique educational needs.
“Mr. Ingalls’ success in meeting the needs of early learners, using data to drive instructional practice and supporting the professional growth of educators makes him a fantastic fit for this role,” Fitzpatrick said. “I’m excited to see the dynamic leadership he will bring to MES.”
