Softball: Montgomery County Regional Quarterfinal Schedule

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — There are five Montgomery County softball teams still alive in the third round of the UIL softball playoffs.

The marquee intra-Montgomery County matchup on the schedule is a one-game Class 5A regional quarterfinal matchup between District 19-5A champion Magnolia West and 20-5A winner Lake Creek.

The third-ranked Lions (36-0) have outscored their opponents 360-16 this year, including 52-0 in four playoff games, and haven't allowed more than two runs in a game since a 10-5 win over Pearland in the second game of the season.

Magnolia West (28-4) also dominated its first two playoff opponents, outscoring them 41-8 over four games.

The winner advances to the regional semifinals to play the winner of seventh-ranked Santa Fe and 10th-ranked Crosby.

The Woodlands vs. Cypress Woods
