Teen Bicyclist Killed After Being Hit By Car In Magnolia
The Magnolia Police Department said no charges were filed against the driver in the incident, which occurred around 10 p.m. Monday.
MAGNOLIA, TX — A teen was struck by a car and killed while riding a bicycle near FM 1774 and David Lane in Magnolia late Monday night, according to a spokesperson from the Magnolia Police Department.
The identity of the teen, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has not been released because the bicyclist was a minor.
Authorities said the car was headed north when the incident occurred around 10 p.m. and that the driver was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Lt. Saul Soto said no charges were brought against the driver.

The bicyclist was wearing dark clothing with no reflectors, authorities said.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting with the investigation into the crash.
