Montgomery, TX -- The body of an 18-year-old man was recovered from Lake Conroe on the night of Saturday, July 16. The man was swimming with friends at Lake Conroe Park, 14968 State Highway 105. After he went missing for about an hour his friends dialed 9-1-1.
Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies swept the lake around of the park with sonar and within an hour had located the man's body at the bottom of the lake.
Divers were able to recover the body, Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack pronounced the man dead and the body was taken to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for an autopsy.
