Willis To Hold Economics Summit
The city of Willis will hold an economics summit on Aug. 25.

WILLIS, TX — Residents will be able to receive an update on the state of Willis' economy from elected officials and city representatives on Aug. 25.
The event will be held at the North Montgomery Community Center, 600 Gerald St., in Willis from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will include a free dinner.
The speakers list includes Mayor Leonard Reed; state Rep. William Metcalf; Montgomery County Pct. 1 Commissioner Mike Meador; Texas Technical Ceramics President Terry Lassinger and Linda Lagarce from Texas Workforce Solutions.
