Harlingen's historic Jackson Street will once again be the site for a one of a kind Halloween event happening on Thursday, October 31.

Harlingen, Texas– Harlingen’s historic Jackson Street will once again be the site for a one of a kind Halloween event happening on Thursday, October 31.

The free event sponsored by the City of Harlingen is a collaboration with downtown merchants to provide a safe and fun place for children to enjoy trick or treating.
Merchants along with City Departments will offer candy and treats starting at 5:30 through 8 p.m. It is a great opportunity for kids to trick or treat safely without having to worry about vehicles as the street will be closed to traffic.

Those who attend will enjoy, live music, food, a haunted house, a kid area, and a whole lot more.
In an effort to allow for crews to set up for the event, Jackson Street from 4th to Commerce will be closed starting at 1 p.m. until the end of the event. With the exception of Jackson Street, all downtown Parking is open to the public.
