On May 12, Harlingen High School South senior Pedro Cervantes signed his letter of intent to participate in Track & Field at Southern Arkansas University.

Family, coaches, and administration all attended the official signing ceremony held at the South Library.

Southern Arkansas University is an NCAA Division II school in Magnolia, Arkansas.
