HOUSTON — Former Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is back with the team that drafted him, but he won't be wearing No. 80. Johnson, who spent 12 years in a Texans steel blue uniform, will have a role as as special adviser to Texans General Manager Brian Gaine and head coach Bill O'Brien.

Johnson's duties will include help with coaching and scouting, among other duties, team officials said.

Johnson was drafted 3rd overall in 2003, and played 12 season for the Texans. He was released in 2015, and played one season for the Indianapolis Colts, and signed for the 2016 season to play for the Tennessee Titans.
