Here's what you need to know about street closures downtown for the first game in the World Series.

HOUSTON, TX — As the Houston Astros take on the Washington Nationals in the first game of the World Series on Tuesday, those attending the game should be aware of a number of street closures and diversions in the area of Minute Maid Park.

The game starts at 8:08 p.m. and for those who won't be at the stadium, you can catch the action on Fox.

Below are the streets closed on Tuesday, Oct. 22:

  1. Congress between LaBranch and Chartres
  2. Crawford between Franklin and Capitol
  3. Texas between LaBranch and Chartres
  4. Hamilton between Franklin and Capitol
  5. Chenevert between Franklin and Congress
  6. Jackson between Franklin and Congress
  7. Jackson between Texas and Capitol
  8. Avenida de las Americas between Texas and Capitol
  9. Chenevert between Texas and Capitol
  10. Preston between LaBranch and Crawford
  11. Preston between Hamilton and Chartres

According to the city of Houston, all road closures are from 3-11 p.m.
