Off Duty Deputy Shoots Suspected Robber 12 Times
An off duty Harris County Sheriff's Deputy shot a suspected robber 12 times.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — On the night of Sunday, Aug. 7, an off-duty Harris County Sheriff's deputy shot a suspected robber about 12 times at a Whataburger on FM 2920 at Spring Cypress Road.
According to a statement from the sheriff's office, two deputies and several civilians were grabbing a bite after a concert when two armed robbers came into the restaurant and approached the cashier.
One of the deputies tried to stop the robber, when that didn't work he wound up shooting the suspect about 12 times. The second guy was able to get away, investigators found both of the alleged suspects weapons in the parking lot.

Neither robber got any cash.
