Feds Allege Harris County Polling Places Violate ADA
The U.S Department of Justice claims in a lawsuit that Harris County polling places violate the Americans with Disabilities Act.

HOUSTON, TX — A recently filed federal lawsuit alleges that some Harris County polling places violate provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The suit, filed by the U.S. Department of Justice, claims that architectural barriers at some polling places, including steep ramps and narrow doors, make it impossible for voters in wheelchairs or with other mobility impairments from casting their ballots.
The Justice Department also claims that the barriers impact voters with vision impairments.
