Sugar Land, TX -- For those who don't want to brave the traffic and crowds that are drawn to the Freedom Over Houston celebration there are options to celebrate the Fourth of July close to home.
Star Spangled Spectacular at Constellation Field
6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Constellation Field (1 Stadium Drive)
The Sugar Land Skeeters will face off against the New Britain Bees in a seven inning game. The event will also feature patriotic activities and entertainment along the concourse and will conclude with a fireworks display.

Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra Freedom Rings
7 p.m.
Stafford Center (10505 Cash Rd. Stafford, TX )
The city of Stafford's official Independence Day celebration will feature a concert from the Fort Bend County Symphony Orchestra. Fireworks will follow the performance.
New Territory Parks and Recreation Fireworks Festival
5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
New Territory Sports Complex (5950 New Territory Blvd. Sugar Land, TX )
The family-friendly event is designed to bring the community of New Territory together. There will be live entertainment, inflatable rides, bungee trampoline and a rock wall. There will also be craft artists and food concessions. Although attendance is free, attractions require a $10 wristband.
Missouri City's Fourth of July Celebration
6 p.m. - 9 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Buffalo Run Park (1122 Buffalo Run, Missouri City), Thurgood Marshall High School (1220 Buffalo Run)
Free activities will be available for the whole family, including rides, moonwalks, rock wall, face painting and more. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks and local vendors.
Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. with seating available in the Thurgood Marshall High School stadium.
