Gallery Furniture to Host The Brookwood Community Farmer's Market

On Saturday, May 20, special needs charity, The Brookwood Community, hosts a Farmer's Market at Gallery Furniture in Richmond.

On Saturday, May 20, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, please join The Brookwood Community for a Farmer’s Market at Gallery Furniture’s Grand Parkway location in Richmond. A strong supporter of local charity and community, Gallery Furniture is sponsoring the event to support a very dear local charity.

Located in Brookshire, The Brookwood Community is a non-profit educational, residential, and entrepreneurial community for adults with disabilities. The Christian organization recognizes every person as the unique creation of a wise and loving God. They believe each individual deserves — not only patience and honor — but appreciation and awe.

At Gallery Furniture, Brookwood Community residents provide a gift shop featuring beautiful home accents. In this way, adults with special needs can have a job, take pride in their work, and be recognized for their accomplishments. The Brookwood Farmer’s Market will provide fresh local produce, food truck samplings, and on-site gardening techniques taught by Fort Bend County Master Gardeners Association. You can even adopt a pet from the Houston Humane Society.
