Guns, Ammunition Recovered Following Arrest In College Station

Stolen property worth valued at $46,454 was also recovered.

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged with evading arrest, among other crimes, following an incident April 22 on Texas Avenue, according to police. Howard Edward Manley III was arrested after he was allegedly seen brandishing a handgun in front of oncoming traffic, The Eagle reported.

Manley was apprehended and arrested. College Station police also recovered stolen property valued at $46,454; the items included: one vehicle, one shotgun, seven rifles, two handguns, large quantities of ammunition, collectibles, and a welding machine, College Station PD wrote on Facebook.

Manley was charged with: Evading arrest or detention with priors, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, tampering with evidence, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, burglary of a habitation, and three counts of theft of a firearm.
