The trail will wind along the bayou from Old Galveston Road to Deeda Drive and add 1.3 miles of hiking and biking to system.

HOUSTON, TX — The Bayou Greenways 2020 project is transforming more than 3,000 acres of land along Houston waterways, and has a goal of creating a network of 150 miles of connected parks and trails.
The organization took another step toward that goal this week when it announced the construction off the design stage of a 1.3-mile greenway and trail along Sims Bayou.
The trail will accommodate hikers and bikers along the bayou between Old Galveston Road and Deeds Drive.
