HOUSTON, TX -- The holiday season has formally arrived in Houston. Mayor Sylvester Turner lit the city's holiday tree Tuesday afternoon in a ceremony downtown.
"I think I'm the most blessed person. There's some incredible employees who work for the city. You've done an incredible job. We've had to deal with a lot these last these years. I can never thank you enough," Turner said at the ceremony, which was streamed live on Twitter.
