Houston PD Investigation Into Fatal Crash At 15200 Lee Road

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 15200 Lee Road about noon today.

The identities of the deceased woman, 25 and the juvenile male victim, 3, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer N. Luu reported:

The driver of a tractor-trailer truck was traveling westbound on the North Sam Houston Parkway East service road at Lee Road when, according to witnesses, a Buick Park Avenue traveling northbound on Lee Road ran the red light and was struck by the 18-wheeler. The Buick then struck two other vehicles, a white Ford F-550 pickup truck and a blue Buick Le Sabre, parked in front of a gas station.

The driver of the Buick was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 25-year old female and 3 year old male passengers in the Buick were transported to area hospitals where they were pronounced deceased.

No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
