Houston PD: Investigation Into Fatal Shooting At 3820 Sherwood Lane

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 3820 Sherwood Lane about 4 p.m. on Tuesday (June 9).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Nabors and J. FLores reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim inside his apartment with a gunshot wound to the chest. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.

Witnesses stated an unknown suspect, dressed in black with his face covered, entered the apartment and shot the victim.
