HOUSTON — July 4th is here and you'll want to know where to get the best seat for firework in Houston and other communities this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Houston so you can start planning now.

What: July 4th Fireworks and Festival in downtown

Where: Eleanor Tinsley and Sam Houston Parks (KTRK ABC-13 will simulcast all the fun statewide and fireworks music will be simulcast on COX Media Group radio stations).

When: July 4 from 4-10 p.m.

Houston’s annual July 4th event will also feature be on the banks of Buffalo Bayou and will feature NEW live music. Headlining the main stage will be multi chart-topping singer/songwriter Jake Owen with special guest country music star Kellie Pickler. The live performances will be followed by an astronomical fireworks show provided by CITGO.


What: Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular

Where: 800 Town and Country Blvd | City Centre

When: July 4 from 7 - 11 p.m.

Independence Day welcomes an evening of live music and a 15-minute fireworks spectacular that you don’t want to miss. Admission is free, but parking is $10.


What: Pasadena's Annual 4th Fest
Where: Pasadena Convention Center and Municipal Fairgrounds, 7902 Fairmont Pkwy Pasadena, TX
When: July 4, 5-10 p.m.
Celebrate Freedom with FUN, FOWLER and FIREWORKS at the annual City of Pasadena 4th Fest. Musical headliner Kevin Fowler and special guest, Houston's own reggae band, TH3RD COAST ROOTS will keep the party jumping until the BIG fireworks show when the sun goes down! FREE ADMISSION!


What: Bubbles and Fireworks Boat Ride

Where: Allen's Landing Park

When: July 4 8-10 p.m.

Avoid the crowds and view the city’s fireworks extravaganza while floating along Buffalo Bayou and enjoying bubbly and light snacks. Can only accommodate 21 lucky guests, so sign up now for this cruise! Cost is $100 each.


What:July 4th Fireworks

Where: Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown| 21300 I-45 N | Spring TX

When: Fireworks show will take place THREE nights in a row this year, on both Thursday July 4th, Friday July 5th and Saturday July 6th

The park will be open 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on the Fourth of July, (open until 8 other than the wave pool and river on 5th and 6th) and the Fireworks Show will begin at dusk every night. All guests must purchase a park ticket to watch the fireworks inside the water park.


What: July 4th Celebration and Fireworks

Where: La Centerra| 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. Katy, TX, 77494

When: July 4, 5-9:30 pm

Come to La Centerra for the annual July 4th celebration. 104.1 KRBE is our radio partner for this festive evening that includes live music, an interactive kids zone and food and drink for purchase from several of our restaurants. The evening wraps up with a spectacular 20-minute firework show beginning at 9:15 p.m.


What: Tomball July 4th Street Party

Where: Business 249 and FM 2920 in Tomball, TX

When: July 4, 5-10 p.m.

Scheduled to perform an evening of Country tunes and Southern Rock is Texas Country Music Hall of Fame group, The Posse. There will be a special patriotic tribute to American and its veterans, food vendors and a giant kids’ zone followed by an aerial fireworks display at dusk. Admission and parking are free.


What: Red, Hot, and Blue Festival and Fireworks

Where: Town Green Park| 2099 Lake Robbins Dr. The Woodlands, TX 77380

When: July 4, 6-10 p.m.

This 4th of July celebration in The Woodlands Town Center boasts an amazing fireworks display, live music, food trucks, and more family-friendly activities.


What: July 4th Concert and Fireworks

Where: Kings Harbor| 4501 Magnolia Cove Dr. Kingwood, TX

When: July 4, 6-10 p.m.

Celebrate our country's birthday with a live concert by Dennis Davis Band at 7pm and a spectacular fireworks' display over the pier at 9:30pm.


What: Cheap Trick July 4th Music and Fireworks Spectacular

Where: Karbach Brewing Co., 2032 Karbach St.Houston, TX 77092

When: July 4, 6 - 10 p.m.

Come out and celebrate America's independence day. Make sure to wear your patriotic red, white, and blue. Let’s enjoy our favorite foods and knock back some cold ones together as we watch the sunset and fireworks light up the sky.


What: July 4th Fireworks Celebration and Parade

Where: Galveston Seawall

When: July 4, 7 – 10:30 p.m.

Nothing says summer like July 4 fireworks at the Galveston Seawall. Come celebration the birth of our great nation. Parade will include floats and military vehicles, with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.


What: Exxon Summer Symphony Star Spangled Salute

Where: Miller Outdoor Theatre| 6000 Hermann Park Dr, Houston, Texas 77030

When: July 4, 8: 30-11 p.m.

There's no better way to celebrate the Fourth than with the Houston Symphony. Enjoy all your patriotic favorites, and a spectacular fireworks display.


What: TRIO- San Leon Beach Pub - July 4th Celebration

Where: San Leon Beach Pub| 222 1st St, San Leon, Texas 77539

When: July 4, 5-midnight

The trio (Brooke, Kelli, Wolff) plays San Leon Beach Pub for their 4th of July Celebration. Fireworks on Mooner Beach (located directly in front of Beach Pub) and Barbecue Dinner.


What: Celebrate Red, White and Boom in Sugar Land

Where: The Crown Festival Park, 18355 Southwest Freeway

When: July 4, from 4-10 p.m.

This year's event will highlight patriotic family fun with activities for all to enjoy coupled with great food and a variety of music. Festive entertainment and activities will include a children's zone complete with fun photo opportunities, face painting, a variety of information stations and a main stage area featuring local talent.
