HPD Investigating Decapitation Killing

HPD is investigating a decapitation killing in Southeast Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A decapitated body was found at an auto repair shop in Southeast Houston on the night of Thursday, Aug. 19.

The body may belong to the owner of Mykawa Auto Parts, a service station in the 9100 block of Mykawa Road near the Airport Boulevard intersection.

The body was discovered around 8 p.m. by a man claiming to be a friend of the owner who was supposedly stopping by to visit the shop. The man who found the body claims that he walked in and found his friend dead.

He ran outside and flagged down the first cop car he could find. HPD homicide is investigating. The man who found the body claims that his friend was well liked and wasn't into anything shady.

This is the second decapitation killing in the Greater Houston Area in three months, but the since the suspect in the first has been in lock up for two months the cops don't think they are related.
